TCEB, Thai Suppliers Gain Strong Leads at AIME 2020

Australian MICE travellers to Thailand hit the record high in 2019, totaling 38,024 pax, which is the highest in 14 years. The figure represents a remarkable increase by 162% when compared with 2018. It provided a solid ground for TCEB to make a presence at AIME 2020 in February. 

The Thai contingent, led by TCEB, comprised 10 suppliers (hotel, venue, DMC and airline). During the two-day event, TCEB and Thai suppliers were able to secure a total of 32 leads with 7,345 pax. 

Areas of interest of the prospective clients are new destinations, new attractions and new activities in Thailand. In this connection, TCEB highlighted new development of products under 7 magnificent MICE themes that can be found in all 5 major MICE cities and other 9 secondary destinations across Thailand. 

One key TCEB’s support packages on offer are Meet Now Big Sisters that provides incentives for events held in Bangkok or Pattaya and Meet Now Beyond Bangkok and Pattaya offering incentives for events held in other destinations outside Pattaya or Bangkok.
